Sweet Roots Farm & Flora

hi, I'm Lindsi

A little slice of heaven, grown by hand

how it started

I'm a middle-of-nowhere farm gal, and I mean that as the highest compliment. Out here in Manti, the mountains are close, the days are quiet, and somehow I ended up with a little slice of heaven to look after.

I never set out to be fancy. I just love growing things. Pushing a tiny seed into the dirt and watching it become something is a wonder I can't get over. Not everything turns out perfect (ask me about the hard seasons), but every season teaches me something.

I grow because it makes me feel better, and I want it to do the same for you. Come for the plants, sure. But my real hope is that you walk around a little, sit down for a minute, and leave calmer and happier than you arrived.

And if you've ever wanted to grow your own food, I'd love to help. Nobody was born knowing how. I'll cheer you on from your very first seedling. 🌱

what we're about

We grow things with our hands and share them with our neighbors. Over 70% of what we sell is grown right here on the farm, and we love teaching people how to grow their own food, eat a little better, and feel a little better, too. Whether you came to shop, join a workshop, or just wander, we hope you leave calmer than you arrived.

Our values

Nine little words we try to live by, out here in the dirt.Draft

  • Warm

You're welcome here the minute you pull in. Come as you are, dirt under the nails or not.

  • Genuine

We grow it, we know it, and we'll tell you the truth about it. No fuss, no pretending.

  • Inviting

Stay awhile. Walk the farm, sit down, ask questions.

  • Peaceful

This is a place to set the busy world down for an hour.

  • Curious

Nobody was born knowing how to grow tomatoes. We love questions and beginners.

  • Inspiring

Seeing something you grew yourself, even a tiny seedling, changes how you feel about what's possible.

  • Uplifting

We want every visit to send you home happier.

  • Connected

To the land, to what you eat, and to the people around you.

  • Community

The farm is better when it's shared with neighbors, friends, and family.

family-run

It takes a whole family

Sweet Roots is a family farm. My husband and my kids are in the thick of it with me, and the farm animals are part of the family, too.Family details: draft

More room to grow

So much of what we sell starts life in Big Beaut, our big hoop house, or Lil Beaut, our little pansy greenhouse. Now a new greenhouse is going up, which means even more room to grow it right here at home.

Come say hi

Pull in, wander around, ask questions. Or pull up a chair at a workshop and make something with us.
